Female rats are called does.  My does are kept as pets until they turn 6 months old.  At that point, I can make my final evaluation on whether or not their genetics are strong enough to pass on, and that they can happily and healthily raise and bear children.  Those who do may eventually be paired up within the next 6 months.  Those who do not are kept as loving pets, or are placed in loving homes.  If you would like to browse my does, feel free to click on a button below, or select from the drop-down under 'Does' in the category you are interested in.
